Bassin d'Arcachon

The bassin d'Arcachon is a lagune which opens out into the Atlantic Ocean, well known for oyster fishing and sailing.

In the middle of the basin you will discover "l'île aux oiseaux" and "the cabanes tchanquées" as well as the "banc d'Arguin".

Situated 50 km from Bordeaux, the bassin d'Arcachon is one of the most important tourist sites on the Atlantic coast.
